Os 2 edifícios propostos são de cariz habitacional, estão inseridos no loteamento NOVA PORTELA e pretendem valorizar e dar continuidade á linguagem arquitectónica e formal da Portela, mas trazendo esse marco, para os dias atuais. São compostos por 42 habitações cada com 3 pisos de estacionamento em cave. O lote de configuração retangular, dá origem a um edifício com 10 pisos acima da cota de entrada principal, numa altura máxima de fachada de 31m, de forma quadrada, tal como acontece na envolvente. A nossa intenção foi formar um objeto singular em que os espaços se articulam de forma clara e objetiva, onde o objeto valha pela sua imagem de continuidade mas de forma dinâmica.

The 2 buildings proposed for residential use are part of the NOVA PORTELA subdivision and intend to enhance and continue Portela’s architectural and formal language, but bringing this landmark to the present day. Both are composed of 42 apartments each and with 3 floors of parking in the basement. The rectangular plot gives rise to a building with 10 floors above the main entrance level, with a maximum façade height of 31m, in a square shape, as it happens on the periphery. Our intention was to form a singular object in which spaces are articulated in a clear and objective way, where the object is worth for its image of continuity but in a dynamic way.
